firstly let me say:

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

there. that's better. more on the subject later....

friday's film night at chez orange was most pleasant. it had everything a film night needs: chips, dip, pringles, films, takeaway, vodka and lychees. oh and [livejournal.com profile] iicatsii, [livejournal.com profile] draziel, [livejournal.com profile] angelic_angie, [livejournal.com profile] malcav, the delightful ms bug and the ever mad bradshaw. plus intermittent spiderage.
walked bug home at about 12:30 as she had to be up for 6:30am to look after old people. drank more than I intended but much much less than bradshaw! walked brad home at about 3:30 as he was looking quite capable of just breaking into the nearest house and sleeping on its occupants after showing them his wang. ended up watching sealab 2021 and sleeping at brad's.

got back to mine and tidied up some of the carnage and then headed townwards with ian. didn't make it to the greek thing as I felt distinctly under dressed for harvey nicks. he bought clothes, I bought hair dye and all the booze in the world. (TEQUILA! and 2 bottles of vodka - plan ahead ses I!) managed to not drown in the bath again - I'm getting good at cheating death by bathwater it would seem. dyed hair poppy red (missing the underside at the back - arses!) was suprised by the early arrival of martin, jemma, carla and daniel who were all tarted up. eventually ladled myself into the pvc catsuit and corset and scared the neighbour's mother. pre-wendyhouse tequila was consumed. oops. in very large quantites by mr cats and brad and alex.

wendyhouse started well. lots of nice people to see, especially kath who I haven't seen since the last one. mr strickland was in good behavior mode. and then it all started to go wrong. A very drunken johna turned up and basically from that point on wouldn't leave me alone. I'm not good at dealing with unwanted attention, especially not on that scale. didn't really manage to be sociable from that point on and just ended up feeling drained and losing contact with bug. waa! :*( afterwards we went back to mine with the plan of picking up booze and changing into more practical clothes before heading over to spider's do - but I just wanted to curl up and die by that point so phoned bug and apologised. paul's date went a tad mad in the early hours of the morning, punching walls and generally wailing loudly so I ran down and let her out before she broke anything. this did have the unfortunate effect of leaving a stranded mr strickland sleeping on my sofa. in a leatherette kilt...

a pleasant afternoon was spent eating dinner at the packhorse and then going to see I robot which turned out to be better than I thought it'd be once it warmed up and got going.

Don't really know what to do about johna. I don't like being rude to people but I'd rather hoped he'd got the message when I said I didn't want to see him anymore in NOVEMBER last year. I don't want to have to send a pithy email but then again I don't want to get hassled again. arse. I am a hassle magnet.

on the bright side: 4 day week! woo! infest woo!

Actually can provide Ross with an alibi, he was most definitely asleep in Simon's garden all night. Why is beyond me but he most definitely was.
