daevid, tawdryfilth (henceforth refered to as 'punchy vegan') and myself had a rather nice night of board games round at maviscruet's on Monday night to round off the Easter weekend. Very civilised. Audrey hardly punched anyone! :P
Am off to the Zeitgeist Zero and Legion gig at the club tonight if anyone wishes to join me in numbing the pain of gainful employment (or filthy studenthood, etc.) doors are at 7 and it's £3 in - I shall be heading down for 7:30-8ish depending on the length of my journey home from Huddlesflob.
Am off down south for a quiet(ish) weekend this coming weekend. I say quietish as D and I should be heading toalixandrea's new night, Sacriledge, in Cambridge on the Friday night but it's all R&R after that. This does of course mean no weekends in Leeds before the splosh thingy so I've ramped up my organisation stuff today and prodded the ladies who've said they'll help but haven't said how! It's like herding cats.
Talking of herding - this week I've been mostly herding Bumble Bees :) There was a huge one in the kitchen on Sunday that was refusing to head down by 3 inches and get out of the gaping window. I encouraged him with the judicious use of a HI! flyer. Yesterday in the office there was another which proved far more challenging a wrangle which included standing on desks and generally chasing it around with a cup. Then realising the cup was far too small and moving on to tupperware. Eventually it settled and I trapped it and took it out to the car park** :)
