Good Morning children. Are we sitting comfortably? Good then I'll begin.

I had a mostly quiet weekend, rumbling around the strange borderland of lazy and productive. I played a lot of WoW but also found myself on a train into town at 10:40 on Saturday morning. To buy new work shoes. Success. They're *very* tedious. I also ended up buying Fuzzy a hoodie as he only appears to own t-shirts so has been getting quite cold around the house (despite all the fur). Bumped into Lisa and Ian in Morrisons so the journey home was super taxi good.

When I got home I cleaned the bathroom shelf. This was no small task! it was very ick and knee deep in half empty toothpaste containers. I also allowed a Mr Ainsley Harriot to assist me in cooking some oriental noodly dish that was tasty - mmmm - both sweet and spicy :D (the Ainsley cooking kits are £2.50 and currently on buy one get one free - good value imho)

Later on Red and Beckie came round and we drank wine, vodka and cider (including a pre-midnight co-op dash for more boozes) it was probably messy. we watched Moulin Rouge (cos Beckie remembered hating it but wasn't sure why seeing as all things considered it has 'beckie friendly' written on it in big letters and then conceded that she really did like it upon a second viewing and must have just watched it with someone who hated it last time thus soaking up the hate from them) then we watched all the songs from cabaret (cos my copy on dvd has that as an easy option - diddly diddly dee!) and then I think beckie crashed out and me and Red slept through most of Chicago - looks fascinating so I shall have to watch that properly.

Hangover of doom on Sunday. Fed Red then locked myself in my cave to level my DeathKnight for a bit :)

One thing I did enjoy on Saturday afternoon was listening to music whilst playing WoW (I don't get to if I'm playing with D as it gets in the way of the SKYPE making it hard to hear what people are saying) I went through the folk music on my hard drive and remembered my love of it especially this song:

the Dalesman's Litany )

Later, this week should bring fondue and games with Johnny, Tim and Jen. Woo! :D nom.
