in other news it's FLOCK! tonight and daevid's band Rome Burns are playing supported by The Men Who Wouldn't be Blamed for Nothing - the latter sound quite interesting I'm getting a 'goth/industrial Chas and Dave' vibe from the stuff I've read ;)

I don't think you need shooting. There's something unquantifiable about Lady Gaga that means that people with sane tastes in music really like her stuff, even if they are ashamed to admit it. I'm among them, although I haven't yet got as far as thinking about actually buying the album.

She's like the 21st Century's answer to Dire Straits: Everyone likes the music, not everyone is comfortable admitting it (and those that tell you they don't like it are lying).
