Sunday, A Plan...

Right. How's this for a plan:

Meet at the Palace pub at 1pm on Sunday setting off at 1:30pm sharp - if you miss us there then you'll have to make your own way to the armouries. The palace pub is on this map but actually near the KG of the yellow bit of Kirkgate rather than where the arrow points. The map to the armouries itself is here but be warned parking isn't cheap and you might be better parking on the street near the palace if there's space.

This should work as it's only a few minutes walk to the armouries from the palace so should give us time to get there and get tickets. I'll speak to my armouries chums to see if they recommend getting there earlier or owt.

if it's absolutely pissing it down this plan will be null and void and I might recommend meeting at the Palace for a few beers maybe - or there's the thackery medical museum which sounds suitably icky but would probably require a different meeting place.

but you could quite easily head home *after* a trip to the armouries - the jousting isn't likely to last more than an hour.
