well so far today I feel a bit better but I am itchy and scarlett. even my face. I can't work out if this is the nettle rashy hivesesque side effect of the Nicef (cefradine) that it says is bad.
hmm *reads leaflet*
1) rash resembling nettle rash or hives - tick
2) itchy and/or scaly skin - tick
3) red or purple patches on the skin - well if it doesn't count as 1 it might count as this
4) joint pain - only in one knee so I don't think that counts
5) difficulty breathing - nah I'm fine
6) swelling of the tongue, face, lips or throat - well I had to change my tongue piercing up a size but that's hardly major
7) feeling faint accompanied with one of the reactions above - not so far today but I have only just got up.
hmm. you see they're all associated with an allergic reaction to the Nicef. but I've taken it before so it's likely to be co-incidental. I shall keep an eye on the size of my tongue just to be on the safe side ;-P
EDIT: doctors appointment at 11:10 - at least I'm well enough to walk down there today. the soles of my feet itch.
EDIT2: turns out it may actually be the first tablets that I was allergic to - they can't tell just yet so they've put me on a third set of Abs and I have to go for a blood test next week to find out what I actually was allergic to so they can put it in my notes

Date: 2008-04-09 11:42 am (UTC)hope you get an answer but most of the time with allergies blood tests wont help or tell anything - they'll blood count to see if its lasting but there very little you can actually test ina yes/no answer for in the way of allergy testing. which is a complete pita.
I had a reaction to all my needle pricks the first time round - including the water placebo... guess what im allergic to?.. yep - the sterialzation stuff.
