the problematic future

bloody hell! my computer was just playing up - saying the av was out of date even though it had just updated and refusing to log on to msn. even after a reboot. odd I thought. then I noticed it was saying that the av was 14000+ days out of date. odder I thought. then I noticed the calendar had somehow set itself to 5/3/2407... changed it back and everything was fine. strange that it should affect msn...
can't be bothered to update with the ever tedious minutiae of my life at the moment. I appear to have lost the will to do so. don't imagine you'll find it to be any great loss eh? I'll just mention that both friday flock and imaginary friends were ace and you should make an effort to go to one or both of them next month.

If you just want a computer you can use why not try Ubuntu Linux (http://www.ubuntu.com)? There is a version now that you can install alongside Windows to see if you like it.
Why steal Windows when Linux is free?

Time syncing
Date: 2007-03-06 04:44 pm (UTC)net time /setsntp:"1.uk.pool.ntp.org 2.uk.pool.ntp.org"
sets inbuilt winxp(pro?) time service to query public uk time servers
it will do it as and when it feels like it though, so only useful on broadband
