See the canyons broken by cloud
Sep. 19th, 2008 12:15 pmplay.com have all of Eerie Indiana on DVD for £7.99 delivered! Just as I was wonder whether or not to put my videos of the first 4 episode in the charity box or not.

So what have I been doing since we last spoke dear readers? Hmm...
Last weekend I had an
eddy_ a-vistin' on his petrol powered bicycle contraption. We ate sausage and chips and went to the Wrens on the Friday night, on Saturday we gathered a
ruby_noir and wandered into town in search of fondue burners and cheese (erk! hangover!) and also gathered a
fuzzygoth. Along the way we encountered a wandering
sara_pebbles and headed to the Triumphant Return of Metal Tearooms. Was quite enjoyable when the music wasn't too extreme (see this is why I don't go to devestator!) but kinda lacked vodka-drinking with
attack_monkey - we must rectify this soon Chimpney!
Went home and prepared the house for an onslaught of fondue consuming Munchkin players. Fondue went well (yay! not even a heart in mouth 'oh my god it's going to seperate! nooo!' moment like last time) and only medium amounts of molten cheese were dropped on the carpet and no-one was rendered catatonic. 8 people proved to be too many for munchkin - even more so when 2 more people turned up (fashionably 2 hours late eh Neal?) and chatting kinda killed play.
miss_corinne bought me FLUFF! I kind of pink gloopy chemical residue what was uber sweet and strawberry flavoured. nom! I've been sticking it on things all week! (no NOT Daevid) We decided to play Buzz Hollywood and then some more old skool music Buzz. Great fun :) We were all a little sober and civilised for SingStar which was a shame as I bought the new DVD - it has 'The One and Only' by Chesney Hawkes on it.
Sunday bought ligging, more buzz, an attempt at packing (woo - 4 boxes!) and some hot spildo action. Eddy bought all the chocolate on earth AND some orange creams. for some reason. We eventually persuaded Eddy to head back in the morning and all headed off to Black Sheep which was great fun even if the orange creams went there too.
Monday was a day of rest. Tuesday was a day of floods. Wednesday was a day of
daevid coming up and us checking out the Loft (where Northen Lights used to be) for supposedly free drinks and canapes. Managed a glass of shonky rose and 4 or 5 strawberries in the chocolate fountain (not a euphamism) before we realised we'd arrived to late and missed everything - so we pootled to Little Tokyo for dinner. There was only 4 of us in there. Nom Nom!
Last night we went to Hukaz for dinner (as Moorish was shut? wha?) and were the only people in there - clearly we only eat at the most unpopular places - was tasty food though - nachos, olives, wedges and breaded mozerella. We headed back to mine and spent the rest of the night laughing at the voice over on one of my porn DVDS ("He loves it - dirty bugger!" - Tanya Hyde's House of Shame - classy british stuff! :P)
Tonight brings voucher-fuelled nommage at Loch Fyne and a trip to the Wrens for Chimpney's birthday. After much fretting I cancelled the trip down south in light of the fact I was worried that the trains might bugger up and I'd miss Nicki's wedding. So to preserve the 'alone time' concept I went a bit mad and booked us a posh room in a hotel in Hebden Bridge for Saturday night. I couldn't get the mad room with the sunken circular bed and the double shower as it was a bit late notice but hey. Sunday is over to Ripon for Nicki and Ian's wedding - I suspect D will head home at that point unless he wants to hang around in Ripon til the reception and then somehow get back to Huntingdon after that.
Phew that was Epic.
