lovely dinner last night - salad, blue cheese and mushroom pasta and raspberries and ice-cream for pud - I suspect neal, having made far too much, will still be eating it next week.
Watched Aeon Flux which wasn't as bad as it could have been - although my brain did keep remembering the fact she won an oscar for monster and going 'nononononono'. It got better when I actually started concentrating on the 'plot' though.
I might go and sit at the back of the first half of tonight's taekwondo class just to keep my brain in taekwondo mode even if my body's not. I checked last night and I can still do the splits which is a relief but I need to start doing non-toe-injury-aggrivating excercise like sit ups and (one footed) press-ups before my muscles give up the ghost completely. At least I've not put on weight like I did last year when I broke my foot. Talking of which, I finally have a hospital appointment for my steroid injection into my problem footsole. Friday 2nd Feb. At Otley hospital. ffs! I'm having to take a day off as there's no way I can make it back to work in a timely fashion and I don't get sick pay for single days. I hate this job. I can't believe that every appointment about my foot has been at different places. I've been to Harehills, Morely, LGI and now Otley. what's going on there eh? Ah well I'll be glad to have it sorted and to be able to sproing about without my toe feeling like it's actually about to explode (which is much more painful than it sounds I can assure you)
hmm. I need a ninj-ing icon - don't really have any photos of me in my taekwondo kit - I shall have to get fully padded up and get someone to take one - terrifying! mwa ha ha ha - icon frenzy continues - unabated!
