I should update more often! I think you can generally tell how misanthropic I'm feeling at any one point by how much I post on LJ. I read it all day and often bemoan the lack of posts - ironic no?

since I last updated I've had bastard cystitis for almost a week (and that was *with* anti-biotics) so easter weekend drinking was wiped out till sunday evening where upon I had equal amounts of water and booze throughout the night. Spent most of the weekend playing WoW with daevid (it *is* sociable given we live at different ends of the country! no! really!) although I did manage some tidying, boardgames, gardening and a picnic. Easter Flock was absolutely marvellous. It was great to see people I don't see so often like _insecure_, echo_echo, prosperine and myz_lilith and Beckie was on great form too. Much silly dancing occurred - including a hip hop style dance off that I managed to do a terrible pasa doble in :D great night

Went out to the park on Monday afternoon for a picnic with Beckie and the usual suspects (nomi, neil, jobbers, nooka, spider etc) - fuzzy even joined us. pleasant. then Johnny popped in for a bit and I introduced him to boom blox :)

so weekend mostly dull and relaxing (which is fine by me) and scuppered by disease (not so fine) but picked up towards the end.

things are going to be insanely busy now - beckie is over for tea tonight, taekwondo and packing tomorrow, down south to see D all weekend and IAMX on Sunday night in Laaandan then I have to pick up my portrait, get a flying mid-journey visit from eddy_ on tuesday night, pack for whitby and then it's off on thursday afternoon when I get back from work! oo and there's an Oracle patch on the live server in the middle there somewhere.

I shall leave you with the best book ever in picture format.

Just gave away my ticket since I'll be flying down to rio that day. They should be excellent though, their last gig here was soooo good and this is a bigger venue (although also a nastier and more vomitty smelling one).
