The thing I was excited about the other week has been confirmed - we will be hosting the official afterparty for the Skin Two North Summer Ball from 2am* till 6am. The organisers felt that theSubculture offered a slightly more relaxed setting than the main venue (the Loft - very nice place - pristine and brightly lit - good for being seen :) ) for people to unwind post event. We'll hopefully be having a curtained off play area full of bean bags in the stage corner and conversation-enabling music volumes.
This also means we'll be an official ticket reseller - tickets available behind the bar.
*this bit is open to interpretation - the burlesque night generally winds down by about 1-1:30 but we won't be kicking people out and we won't stop people from the ball coming in before 2 - so there'll be a cross over bit probably :)

this is good - I wanted to go to the ball anyway!

in other news I'm off to two out of town gigs next month - Covenant/Deviant UK/Uberbyte in Manchester on the 4th and IAMX in Londonshire on the 19th - who's at either of those?

We (the band) does have tickets to sell at £15 a pop tho, so if you know anyone wanting, point them in my direction..

I'm planning to see IAMX too, but in the cosy hometown Sheffield setting. I've heard Very Good Things about him tho..
