Whitby lift scrounging time :)

and not *just* for me this time.

first off the lovely (and pretty housetrained for a ginger so no worries about poops in the back of your car) eddy_ would like a lift from leeds to whitby on the wednesday - earlyish arriving lunch or afternoon rather than late at night.
not sure if he needs one back too - I think he's planning on coming back to leeds on the wednesday so anything in that direction would be welcome also.

I just need a lift over on the thursday afternoon as usual - I have a half day so will be back home by about 2ish and looking to leave as soon after that as possible

petrol money and bad singing will be provided by both parties (ok so the singing is optional)

Any idea as to what the weather will be like over whitby. If its vaguely shite I will be driving which means you can have a lift. Otherwise I'll be on the bike.

ooo just realised Daevid's stopping off on wednesday night now so I shall be going with him - doh - can't believe I blanked that one for a second - I shall be in twouble now that's for sure!

MetOffice 6-15 day forecast for the UK includes the following:

"The start of next week will see further rain or showers with strong winds at times, but it should turn more showery through the week. Further spells of more persistent rain are also likely late next week and through the weekend, with the driest conditions in the south and east. Temperatures will be near normal initially, but below normal or rather cold for much of the period across central and northern parts with overnight frosts likely."

so we could be in for a damp one. Or not. Bit too early for the forecast to be much more than indicative IMO.
