Am beginning to feel very sad about moving out. For 10 years this has been *my* home and sanctuary.
I think of the cats I've had here.
The friends and lovers I've had here.
The parties I've had here.
So many memories.

It's a broken old thing now and needs someone to give it a good kicking and spend some money on it - I just wish it could be me. Ah well. New house and eventually I'll be able to start saving for another one of my own.

still sad though.

I know the feeling, with regards to packing my stuff getting ready to eventually vacate "my house" (eventually when the paperwork is sorted out) but then i also know about new beginnings as well :) x

much love :)

focus on the excitment of a new start. god knows i've seen my fair share of them.

and remember, memories stay with you, and new ones get created.

and one last positive, you get a lie in as i recon with a rope slide i could get right from my new room to the train

Hard as it may be, try not to think of the negatives.....yes you're leaving behind your home of 10 years....and going to another one.......the new home will create just as many good memories as the old one did....

And as Al said, memories will stay with you, always :-)

Do you know, I can still remember moving you into the place? And all the times I was sick in your garden/skip/outside your gate.......

:P

At the end of the day though, its the people inthe house that make it was is. You're just moving the party bus down the road is all.

*hug*

Hard to know what to say. It was always going to be hard, leaving things behind generally is, even when it is the right thing to do. Hopefully having people around who care helping you will make it easier.

You are a survivor, i'm constantly impressed by your ability to get through and make the best of things. So i think that it will all come good for you. I have one of those feelings that i get that it will all work out well for you in time. Many hugs x

Aww, it always feels wrong when you move (except my Manc city centre flat, was glad to see the back of that), I'm sure you'll feel settled again soon and you can start filling your new place with more future-memories :D

I'll miss the old shack, especially it's proximity to brown food. however, look forward to passing out on a new floor...red x
