when the money from selling my house comes through I intend to spend a little of it on myself. I've compliled a list in order of necessity of the things I should buy:

a new pair of platform new rocks - as the sole (edit - possible the soul too but that was a little deep) is attempting to detatch from mine at the mo - 4+ years of being pretty constantly worn though so not a bad innings
a new phone - possibly another nokia 6300 as I loved it so much and it's defininetly not coming back from the dead this time :( ooo they do them in other colours now too...
a long line black satin underbust corset - as both of my plain black long corsets are too big and falling apart.
a roland juno G. I played with one at mera luna (and kept trying to sneak of to play it when no one was looking) both of my other synthesisers are from before 1988 - it would be nice to get with the times a little even if it's with a budget machine. and it matches my juno 106 nicely :D

that's about a grand. it's not much of a replacement for my home but hey, retail therapy...

If I have a bit of money to throw around I'd get a shit hot phone, like the new touch screen with 8mp camera. The new LG's & Samsung ones are nice. That LG viewty is cool too, touch screen with 5mp camera.

yeah the N95 has a shit hot camera too. but I just want a small sturdy phone - I have a pretty good digtal camera already.

can't squee enough about the N95 :) (however it has decided it doesnt want to send text messages any more which is bugging me significantly - be relieved it is why you haven't been subjected to work time textual harrassment! ) But indeed, a bit of a frivilous investment if you want a sturdy phone come mp3 player. I only got it cause it was free with my contract!

The LG's feel like good sturdy phones. The last phone i bought was a cheap piece of shit. I figured why would I need a shit hot phone camera when I have a digital camera. Then I realised that a digital camera is a bit too big for taking with me everywhere, you see I'm always on the look out for shit to film, like fights & car crash aftermaths lol. So now I'm after a decent camera phone. Which LG does your bro have? Is it the viewty?
