can't quite reach the keyboard over my giant distended cheese-gut...

that went well. managed to get up at 11 despite being up til 4am on msn on christmas eve. [livejournal.com profile] the_great_bj and I finished cleaning the kitchen and livingroom just before [livejournal.com profile] attack_monkey, [livejournal.com profile] brummie_ninja and [livejournal.com profile] breadlord turned up. the gents drank spirits whilst the ladies and I drank snowballs. how marvellous. dinner was prepared and cooked with out incident. nobody died of my cooking. the gravy was tasty. success. although I completely forgot to do the ham - shall have to remember to cook it tomorrow.

we opted out of telly watching after dr who (is it just me or was kylie actually looking a bit old - it kinda scared me?!) and festively watched trading places instead. what a great film. we got the cheese board out - 8 types of cheese and lots of tasty bread and crackers! woo! nom nom nom nom.

blee... so full... and I have to put the sheets on my bed before I can go to sleep. hmm maybe if I just wrap myself in them - that works right?

as long as your quilt has a cover wrap yourself in that, that works great and is even toastier, quilt above, below and on both sides ... bliss ;)

I thought that too. There was a time when Kylie looked younger than me. Now I realise I look younger than Kylie!

I did think Kylie looked old, but then she is aproximately as old as me so she has the right to really. And i did think it was good that someone as famous and glamorous as her could let herself be shown looking old on the telly.

"Is it just me or was kylie actually looking a bit old - it kinda scared me?!" - Yup I thought that too. Is it cos we ever imagine her as only a glossy photoshopped pop star or a young mechanic in Nieghbours? Still she's looking great I guess she has been thru chemo and that does put some women prematurely into the menopause. I'd forgotten what a good acress she was(I wish she'd give up the singing malarky!).

yeah I think that was my point - like the recent photos of siouxsie - what we normally see has been airbrushed to shite so it was kinda shocking but refreshing to see her looking her actual age.
