bloody hell I'm bored today. I've read the entire internet. well apart from the bits about complicated physics...

AND I actually did some work today. proper 'oh my god the server's gone down what can we do?' type work. I retained a calm demeanour whilst those around me ran round like headless chickens sat back obliviously. Plus I totally just did some more really work - like extending tablespaces and burping the DataWarehouse database. I am a good mother.

did I mention I'm bored.
HEEEEEELP MEEEEEEE!

Scarily enough, when I get bored I tend to head straight for the bits about complicated physics.

(Not that I understand them. But being befuddled by the deepest secrets of the universe makes a change from being befuddled by the printer. Mind you, I doubt even a complicated physicist could get our printer to behave...)

Ooh, yes, that could work. Please send him out to Cleckheaton and get him to explain in his best physicist's voice to the printer that it is physically impossible for tray 2 to be out of paper, seeing as how it only has one paper tray...

Yes, I know there is currently no paper in tray 2, due to its unfortunate case of non-existence. But "out of paper" suggests to me that it at some point had to contain paper, in order for it to run out. So somehow the non-existent tray still managed to hold an existent quota of plain white A4. Since it has no physical existence, this may be occurring in a parallel dimension somewhere. Science may wish to investigate.

I have also been mostly bored this week. Can you tell?
