often foolish. but I was thinking about my birthday celebrations and came up with this

the small private booths are a little pricey but if I could get 30 people it might be worth me booking the large on (10-30 people) for a couple of hours (£100 - it's not that much more than what I used to pay to hire the phono every year) or we could just go to the main room/stage which is free in but may be rammed with the general public. hmm perhaps [livejournal.com profile] selectnone we should go and scope it out at some point? maybe with Will for safety :)

My thought is to do this on the afternoon of the 23rd December, a sunday, and the day after my birthday. Probably starting 4 or 5ish with time for festive Black Sheep afterwards (maybe I should see if I can get another guest slot :D)

so...

a poll...

comments on the private vs public booth?

OK Karaoke. Hmmm...

Put the battle computers on-line!
Put up the radiation flare shields!
Clear the neutron blasters for firing!
Target acquired!

Now, do we go for a nice, clean, precision strike on the target only, or do we say "sod the neutron blasters", break out some nice dirty great hydrogen bombs, and nuke the entire district from orbit? It's the only way to be sure...

:-)

But yes, assuming anything Orange (or for that matter anything Sheepish) survives the ensuing thermonuclear karaopoccalypse, you should most definetly guest at Sheep. Last time was ace!

In all honesty I have absolutely no idea what I am doing that weekend yet (although I have the Monday off, so it is likely we may be seeing family).

It's the big 3-0 for me next year, so I'm going to start deciding how that will be celebrated party-wise soon...
