some strange music draws me in

friday got to the pub to meet matt, speedy,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dr_misrule, brummie_ninja and attack_monkey at 8:30 with the plan of going to redshift and then to frankie. selectnone and some work people turned up, somewhat worse for wear having been drinking straight from work. Don't think I've ever seen him that bad before! I managed to finish him off with a Jagermeister resulting in him having to go home. haha! lightweight :P went to Frankie with Gunnar (most attractive and nice german bloke EVAR!), somehow I spent £35 and I got a taxi back with some people (I think it may have been james and angie but my brain is unclear on the subject)
On Saturday I managed to get to the club for 1:30 thanks to lovely dawn giving me a lift.wsogmm came down with petulant_seraph and much pinball was played until the machine went apeshit on us. neal turned up and the 4 of us went for impromptu noodles at fuji hiro. yum! (I had the chilli beef ramen - rarr!) swapped neal for dawn and went for a pint with smileygoth at walkabout. I had to be back at the club at 8 to meet with will, beckie and luke about nightclub of the living dead. It's shaping up to be a good fun night.
jacoby_swift and githnaur came over from hudds (alex's gf had gone to a leeds lapdancing club with her mates so the boys hid at substance! haha!) Dene the little chap I met on Xmas Eve turned up too. apparently he'd nearly come round on boxing day for the eating and drinking but had chickened out at the last second. shame - he's such a friendly fellow and got on famously with everyone on saturday. The remnants of smileygoth's leaving do came down - which perked the numbers up a bit. by the end of the night my voice had gone completely. oh dear. I must have been being loud - apologies to anyone I was annoying at! The hudds lot came back to Neal's to wii and eat cashew nuts till 5 in the morning - I couldn't make any sound at all by that point :( not good for shouting encouragement at wii-ing people.
We dragged our lardy arses out of bed and to the palace inn for sunday dinner at about 1:30 and then promptly went back for sofa-based duvet-enhanced hibernation. ah! bliss! the way sundays should be. (enhanced by the proximity of a decent pub to Neal's flat) Ligging, all cosy, munching snacks and watching stuff of no consequence. time utterly wasted! the luxury! saw the spongebob squarepants movie, shaolin soccer and finished off the first series of the mighty boosh. I trotted off to the club at 7 and toasted my bottom on the cloakroom radiator whilst playing lost magic on my ds. badly.
hmm. this week I'm going to organise lots of stuff to do as I'm still not taekwondotastic. should leave time for the tax return though. oo and it's a rare weekend mostly away from the club. although I will be pestering you to attend on sunday as it's our last one before black sheep comes back and I'm going to dj it - seeing as I rule this is a very good thing and you must attend.
