moaning aside the weekend was pleasant. much drunken dancing and wibbling at frankie on friday - possibly till about 4am - I think at the end there was just me, [livejournal.com profile] baron_von_ed and [livejournal.com profile] redjel - chris had given up djing about 2:30am then spooky, who'd randomly appeared drunk not long beforehand, took over the djing. very silly.

I felt like deep fried munt again on saturday but managed to brave prettycraftythings all afternoon. getting and wearing my new glasses may have been a a little ambitious given my woozy state but it's always exciting getting new glasses and no-one noticing. went to morrisons with neal - due to the state of flux of the morrisons in town and the neal-need to buy obscure stuff this was rendered even more challenging than the usual hungover shopping. Had to rush home and have the quickest pre-wendyhouse bath ever.

Kath, Bridget and Will came round and for drinkies. We drank jagerbull and the ladies scared will by mostly getting changed in front of him as he read the contents of the wrong box (his beard is in there twice) - surely a situation which should itself be in the wrong box. we got to wendy about 10 and a fun night was had by all (possible exception of kath who overdid it and became emotional) - felt a bit sad that there was no-one to flirt with. boo. managed to get home in one piece eventually after rescuing my ewok from the cloakroom.

Sunday was spent lazing on my bed with the girls watching girl films - the truth about cats and dogs and fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe. sob tastic. sheep had more people at it than last week and a couple of new people who look like they might turn into regulars. yay for new regulars.

right. I've written the whitby list and tonight will be spent washing and packing stuff. list seems tamer and shorter this year. I must be getting old!

often foolish. but I was thinking about my birthday celebrations and came up with this

the small private booths are a little pricey but if I could get 30 people it might be worth me booking the large on (10-30 people) for a couple of hours (£100 - it's not that much more than what I used to pay to hire the phono every year) or we could just go to the main room/stage which is free in but may be rammed with the general public. hmm perhaps [livejournal.com profile] selectnone we should go and scope it out at some point? maybe with Will for safety :)

My thought is to do this on the afternoon of the 23rd December, a sunday, and the day after my birthday. Probably starting 4 or 5ish with time for festive Black Sheep afterwards (maybe I should see if I can get another guest slot :D)

so...

a poll...
