right my whitby plans are almost sorted...
we're getting a train to scarborough on sunday and back on monday. I have a lift from whitby to scarborough sorted on the monday (ta timmy!) but nothing the other way. if any of you car-owning types are early birds and will be up and about by 10 on the sunday and fancy a drive then I'll give you a tenner if you come and pick us up from the station in scarborough at 10:30am. it's 25 minutes drive from whitby apparently. no worries if not we'll get a taxi - I phoned a few companies yesterday and it's perfectly do-able.
in other news I went home last night and went straight to bed - no taekwondo, no tea. I snoozed through a few episodes of scrubs (which for some reason had no picture - I must try them on my other dvd player tonight) and a time team special about the lost plains of doggerland. got up about 10:30pm a bit baffled and then had a relatively early night at 12:30. and I still feel tired. ho hum. maybe this is just what being 36 feels like?
I'm cooking tea for the huddled masses of hyde park on friday - roast beef for 8 - should be a challenge - it means washing up for a start...
