Well I submitted my tax return earlier and had to pay 88p. I'm still not sure why I had to pay 88p given that all the income I submitted was earned in proper jobs where I was on PAYE tax. Odd.
Went for a lovely steak last night at Jake's Bar and Grill on Call Lane. Tuesday night is half-price steak night. Woo! Me and the Neals pogged ourselves on fillet steak and acoutrements to the point of near immobility and drank fine bottled ciders all for the princely sum of £16 each. Highly recommended. (but get there earlyish as it started to fill up about 7:30.) Fancy trying the ribeye if I ever get to go back (probably not on a tuesday tho as I should be back at taekwondo soon)
Watched another couple of episodes (or was it just one - my brain is melting due to lack of sleep) of Heroes last night. It's shaping up to be a really good series! Good stuff! Then some family guy and the south park episodes where they try and get family guy banned. referential-tastic.
hmm. The Church are touring Europe in April. they're playing 2 gigs in the UK. London and Brighton. WTF? Way to spread the shows around the country dudes! Gits! No-one's going to travel to London with me to see them :( This makes me doubly bitter that I missed them at break for the border last time they were in the country (I only noticed the gig listing a few days after they'd played - because I'd failed to open some post in a timely fashion. Rarr!)
