Name me an illness, call me a sin
Dec. 20th, 2006 09:07 amoo last day before xmas today - not back in till the 29th now. joy!
fuddle food has been safely transported to work. joy!
secret santa at work bought me a studded collar. joy!
shonky christmas tonight. joy!
didn't get round to doing a pass the parcel though. ah well! it might well have been a logistical nightmare.
now I'm pondering how to best get my xmas tree down to the club...
in other 'news' the mp3 player on my phone became stuck on gay earlier. dolly parton, bronski beat, erasure... it eventually stuggled out of this theme with 'some kind of stranger' by the sisters - which got me to pondering - I really like this song - partly because it's pretty but mostly because of the juxtaposition of extremely 'romantic' musical motifs with lyrics about shagging laydeez (one assumes) without even knowing their names. I'm often amused by soppy young goth things referring to it as 'their tune' or somesuch just because it has the line 'come here I think you're beautiful' - clearly the only bit of the lyrics they've bothered listening to.
next week on orange ponders lyrics: stinkfist by tool.
