it was quite cold - I had to buy a scarf and hat!

I was planning on taking my big furry Russian type hat and wearing my huge winter coat complete with massive furry collar. I was also looking at thermal ski socks in TK Maxx at the weekend. My German colleague told me it was rather cold over there! Thankfully I still have my winter hiking gear that I used a lot in the snow of the Cairngorms!

i completely forgot to take a warmer coat than normal with me - I had to keep people's stuff on my lap in the wheelchair or my legs froze!
