The Plan

This is my plan for tonight. feel free to slide into it at any point.

Gather at mine about 7:30
get to the george for 8:30
leave the george about 9:15 to get to the phono for 9:30
blow up balloons, put stuff in bowls, divide the party poppers, make the lights work and poke the dj booth till it squeaks. yay for squeaking.
10pm the bar opens, party comences.
somepoint later - the orange collapses

through out the night people will be welcomed to do a bit of djing. I might write out a crib sheet in big letters of how to do it once I work it out.

I shall attempt to meet you in the George due to proximity to LGI. Shall be going home before I go in to see him tonight (assuming he actually goes in!) so I'll just get a cab there rahter than going backwards and forwards I guess.

the only time i've ever helped dj at the phono is when i'm hammered but i believe it's pretty straightforward despite the ancient equipment.
ooh just remembered, i asked geoff ages ago if he'd fix the bubble machine and he still hasn't :( used to give me hours of amusement pressing that button when the most hardcore of old skool metallers were rocking out only for them to suddenly start prancing around trying to catch bubbles...

I've got my works' do at 4 (which I organised), and then I'm doing the sound for SuperKeef's gig. After that I'll be off to Peru to read bedtime stories to jungle children, and am flying back in time to clean the streets of LS17 with a dustpan and brush. ;)

So I can't come down to the Phono, even if I was invited :P but i'll definetly see people down at the George.

I'll be drunk by the time you all get there, cos that's how hardcore I am ;)
