Joking aside, I gather that the Phono bouncers have been rather strict in enforcing dresscodes lately (fairly impressive, given that we don't have one) so I would suggest anyone wearing less-than-black attire to namedrop Geoff or something, otherwise they may have trouble getting in.
TBH I've heard of people being turned away a couple of times lately... on the face of it I think it's a good thing, but obviously the bouncers don't show a great deal of imagination and make mistakes.
Prehaps we should have a small entrance exam: "Tell me, what was the name of the drummer in the Sisters Of Mercy", that sort of thing...
