erk! just scwooshed my keyboard with one of those air blower things and also turned it upside down and given it a good shake. I think you could make an entire nut and crisp roast with the contents...

we are now fully swine flu enabled here - personal sanitising hand-gel on our desks, disinfecting wipes for surfaces, illustrated notices about how to wash your hands *properly* up in the toilets. golly gosh.

I did my bit by pointing out that anti-bacterial stuff doesn't kill viruses cos viruses aren't bacteria (although I did this when they were at the planning stage rather than afterwards so the stuff we have does have alcohol in it which should kill the swine flu virus according to the government's site - I figure if you're going to go the whole hog* then you should at least buy stuff that actually attempts to do what you want it to)

*no pun intended I'm afraid.

mmmm nutroast for tea I think *funnels keyboard-scrapings into a container*

Yes, the company I work for is incredibly tight, they're allowing the ordering of hand sanitiser etc. on company expenses, seeing as I've now been sent home with the lurgie, I offered to lick other people keyboards ;)

I've just gone back to work today and was informed that there are lots of antibacterial handwashes and sprays for us to use to combat swine flu, it made me snigger as I had already read your post.

It's nice to know Sheffield City Council have done their homework ;-)
