Red Snapper... mmm very tasty!

Just had a lovely, mostly relaxing, weekend down south. Went to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ulfilias's house on friday night for takeaway chinee foo and UHF (which D hadn't seen before). Marvellous. Saturday involved a trip to Cambridge to shop and look at the 'eater of time' clock and to visit D's brother. To my eternal shame I nodded off whilst watching Red Dwarf season 1 (we did watch the whole thing) - how very middle aged! Sunday was a lazy day until we dressed up a bit and headed to Camden for the IAMX gig. And it was bleeding awesome! They played a very inclusive set, only missing 2 songs off the second album, the 3 new songs in a row in the middle was a bit excessive but the audience didn't flag too much. The encore started with the new song Think of England which pretty darn catchy and they eventually ended with President which is a fantastic spikey pompous cabaret style waltz (I hate 3/4 time so I've reclassified it as 6/8 which is clearly different *nods*) - good stuff cos I was worried they might not play it. all in all very good :)
Came back to yesterday's mini heatwave with all my bags and heavy coat and picked up the portrait thatladyserpentine did for me. had to get a taxi though as I thought I might melt. have used said portrait to scare my housemates - it may need to be bought out to scare them into household chores :D fe0r my mighty b00borz!
eddy_ should be at FOC by the time I get back from Taekwondo so tonight will involve entertaining the ginger and eating kebabs. win! tommorow I pack for whitby. I'm sure this will be far more effort than I'm expecting but hey. better dye my hair too as it's a little palid. Then thursday afternoon is go go whitby rangers go!
