Do you sometimes find yourself tripping when walking..?

Yesterday I became a shambling, stumbling loon. I *kept* tripping over my own feet to the extent that I fell up the escalators at leeds station in the morning (not too bad thankfully) and then I properly fell up the steps at burley park station in the evening resulting in sore knees. My previously pristine shoes that I'd been wearing to work for 2 weeks are now all scuffed from the number of times I tripped up kerbs or just scraped my toes whilst walking! No idea what was wrong with me - I didn't physically feel bad. Went home and even the Wii Fit was registering this strange uselessness - I couldn't do any of the tests and ended up at 41 years old - I usually register at about 33!

Oddness!

Anyhoo. Easter is LOOMING like a giant loomy thing. I left it deliberately unfilled so I could have some pottering downtime but it's started to fill up regardless. Thursday night after tkd I should be hitting the pub with Beckie, Friday is boardgames with Mavis I think, Saturday I'm off to see Bat for Lashes with Whitby Jo (theoretically) and Sunday is Easter Flock. I expect Monday will be groaning and recovery.

So who's coming to EASTER FLOCK? (Easter Sunday 7pm - 2am free in)

yesterday i tripped over a kerb and upon trying to recover from that i tripped over myself, and in the process of trying to protect my guitar i head butted a lamp post.

I was going to go for option D, but I didn't want to fib. Both of my legs are still attached, and I am far too awesome to live in Leeds. I also feel that 'Crikey' is a very underused word.

Phwooooar.. Crikeeeeeeey

Please note that it is the latter! I need new legs (or my original ones, the ones I had before the hip and thigh fairy came to visit!)

What is it with people falling up/down escalators at the moment? I had two old ladies fall onto me in the St Johns Centre within 5 seconds of each other a couple of weeks back, and in the last week I must have seen about 4 people throw themselves around the one in the train station.

It's like Leeds has a collective inner ear infection.

Substitute 'legs have dropped off' for 'dissertation has stolen my social life' :(

I am constantly with the tripping idiocy. Usually over my own furniture. You'd think I'd know where it was by now...

I am currently working on a masterplan... it depends on the weather, and a very, very shiny and very, very black motorcycle ;-)

maybe I've infected you from afar with my terrible clumsiness, I've been surprisingly free of falling over, apart from slipping in the bath, stubbing my toe on a box, slipping in the merrion centre... etc... which is a small amount for me

I think we will be around for the Flock as the Armories, 'Knight baiting' sounds a good laugh and as Pru said it would be almost rude not to.

I think we may have bribed ourselves crash space in the Sir Fuzzlington Smythe suite. Well we are delivering his birthday present ;o)
