Yesterday I became a shambling, stumbling loon. I *kept* tripping over my own feet to the extent that I fell up the escalators at leeds station in the morning (not too bad thankfully) and then I properly fell up the steps at burley park station in the evening resulting in sore knees. My previously pristine shoes that I'd been wearing to work for 2 weeks are now all scuffed from the number of times I tripped up kerbs or just scraped my toes whilst walking! No idea what was wrong with me - I didn't physically feel bad. Went home and even the Wii Fit was registering this strange uselessness - I couldn't do any of the tests and ended up at 41 years old - I usually register at about 33!

Oddness!

Anyhoo. Easter is LOOMING like a giant loomy thing. I left it deliberately unfilled so I could have some pottering downtime but it's started to fill up regardless. Thursday night after tkd I should be hitting the pub with Beckie, Friday is boardgames with Mavis I think, Saturday I'm off to see Bat for Lashes with Whitby Jo (theoretically) and Sunday is Easter Flock. I expect Monday will be groaning and recovery.

So who's coming to EASTER FLOCK? (Easter Sunday 7pm - 2am free in)

It's not really numbers....

See Geof said yes - but he's super busy and unsure.

Tim said yes - but he's currently going around europe and thinks he'll be free on the friday night. But he might not be....

Mark has said yes, you've said yes, and I've said yes.

So I was going to wait till friday and then poke people then. And worse comes to the worse - we go to Mark's, play something silly and drink like fish.

I was going to go for option D, but I didn't want to fib. Both of my legs are still attached, and I am far too awesome to live in Leeds. I also feel that 'Crikey' is a very underused word.

Phwooooar.. Crikeeeeeeey

Please note that it is the latter! I need new legs (or my original ones, the ones I had before the hip and thigh fairy came to visit!)

well I don't get that properly with my current contraception but I do think I have noticable body cycles and it did occur to me that it seems linked. I shall have to wear non-scuffable shoes this time next month!

What is it with people falling up/down escalators at the moment? I had two old ladies fall onto me in the St Johns Centre within 5 seconds of each other a couple of weeks back, and in the last week I must have seen about 4 people throw themselves around the one in the train station.

It's like Leeds has a collective inner ear infection.

Substitute 'legs have dropped off' for 'dissertation has stolen my social life' :(

I am constantly with the tripping idiocy. Usually over my own furniture. You'd think I'd know where it was by now...

I am currently working on a masterplan... it depends on the weather, and a very, very shiny and very, very black motorcycle ;-)

Earliest is 12.15pm (it says am on the website, but that can't be right!)

Hmmm - going to be an early set off on Sunday then... going to have to keep an eye on the weather and get sorted on Saturday to get out at 8am, which is ungodly for Easter Sunday :-(

Least the roads will be quiet though, so I may make some "good progress" like ;-)

YES!!! i also have a "pla ..." for sunday knightage! (after which it would just be really rude not to flock really wouldnt it)

a pla eh? random! sounds like my sort of plan :D

From: [identity profile] tomb-bat.livejournal.com
You want to be careful of those PLA's. We only go as far as PL's....anything more and it's a bit too close to a PLAN....and that would never do ;o)

I am currently running on a P... only. Though I think I saw some other letters hanging around somewhere... if I can get them all corraled into one place then things may just happen ;-)

maybe I've infected you from afar with my terrible clumsiness, I've been surprisingly free of falling over, apart from slipping in the bath, stubbing my toe on a box, slipping in the merrion centre... etc... which is a small amount for me

I think we will be around for the Flock as the Armories, 'Knight baiting' sounds a good laugh and as Pru said it would be almost rude not to.

I think we may have bribed ourselves crash space in the Sir Fuzzlington Smythe suite. Well we are delivering his birthday present ;o)

That wouldn't be "The Incredibly Strong Ale" would it????

I may just have to fire up the Speedie then - bollocks... may need to bring a bed with me if there are many folk turning up and that could be a logistical nightmare!

What?...me?....brew Honey Ale and then transport it in 38 bottles to Leeds?!

Would I do such a 'dangerous' thing! ;o)

He he he - magnificent!

The weather forecast is looking like it may play nicely too, which means I may get some fun on the way over too!!!! Not that I actually *bought* that Speed Triple I was on about last time you understand....

(Actually, I didn't buy that Speed Triple, cos someone else got to it before me, so rather than having a red one I had to suffer with a black one instead... damn!)
