Woo! Me, redfetishfreak and daevid are off to see Depeche Mode at the MEN in December.

I object to having to pay a fortune for concerts way in advance but somehow couldn't resist this one. I realised I last saw DM on the Violator tour (and before that on the Music for the Masses tour) back in 90 or 91 - gosh! that's a lifetime ago! £45.80 with booking fee. 9 months time! erk!

lets hope Muse don't announce a tour anytime soon or I may go bankrupt.

BTW- Music for the Masses was in 87- I saw them at St George's Hall in Bradford and managed to shake hands with 3 of the band as they came offstage. They only do big venues nowadays, so its not as easy..

yeah I saw them at the NEC both times - very big concerts :) I'm surprised they played st george's hall actually even back then!

Did you manage to get standing tickets? They were all gone when Jo called this morning :( Do they really expect us to SIT when there's Depeche Mode going on?! Pah! If you know anyone who wants to swap standing for seated let me know, I'm keeping my hopes up!
