OMG!

I bought the Korg DS-10 dodad for my nintendo DS

it's unbelievably yay!

it makes me want to spend money on real stuff! gah!

it's £18 from the hut and almost certainly worth it (although I paid £22 from amazon :P ) - I appear to have written electro music!

Which reminds me, I still have a couple of your DS games Ms Orange! We must meet on a bridge and exchange them* Cold-War style.

You will if you use any of the filters ;)

Let us know how it pans out. The DS doesn't usually haven't the worlds greatest sound capability so I'd be interested to know what they've achieved with it.

The DS-10 is a wonderful little piece of kit. I have it, and had much fun with it until it turned out that my DS was irreperably broken :( I need to get a new one.

[identity profile] sarah-orange.livejournal.com 2009-02-04 12:52 pm (UTC)(link)
how do you break a DS? kicking it? using it as a coaster?

[identity profile] electrodruid.livejournal.com 2009-02-04 12:58 pm (UTC)(link)
You let crm borrow it to use as an alarm clock for a few months. Presumably it's all got clogged up with hair, or something. The touchscreen calibration keeps going off, and even after some cunning Googling for a trick involving fixing it with a toothbrush, it's knackered.
