ugh.

how on earth did I end up joining in the 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes thing at Kieran's birthday last night. especially as I'd had most of a bottle of wine first and the first 7 shots were wine. then I moved onto strongbow. I think I finally bowed out in the mid 60s. K managed 72 and the rest of them (redfetishfreak, Pat, Arthur and Will) managed 100. it's harder than it sounds as you really start to inflate after a while - Beckie had to borrow some more comfortable trousers. plus we started to get the dread of the timer K had set up to shout out 'Drink!' in a father Jack voice every minute.

I am too old for this shit! was nice though. we had bbq'd food, wibbled and played with Beckie's ferret Itchy. and still managed to be home for 11:30. I'd only intended to stay till 9. oops. no wow for me. Got back and was drunk at fuzzy on MSN - it took longer to type than normal due to cacky-handed drunkenness - at least he made me drink some water so I don't feel too bad today.

in other, possibly related, news I totally woke up today with a giant ginger afro. it quite scared me. I walked past the bathroom mirror and actually jumped. it has been contained with water and products for the sake of humanity and my sanity.

Don't fancy the drinking game though. About 3 ciders and a few shots of Jagermeister is my absolute hard limit - any more and I pass out / throw up (and I utterly detest being sick, have only ever done it through booze once, and that was Inkubus Sukkubus's fault! :-) ).

God, havent done a Century (as we called it at school) in years! THey are deadly. Have only ever finished one and was not a happy camper afterwards! Well done for getting as far as you did considering what you had imbibed prior! As for the ging-er 'fro I did literally laugh out loud at the mental image of you catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror! :D
