1.What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
got a black belt in a martial art.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't believe I made any - I always mean to be less weedy than the year before. it rarely happens.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
nah - I'd have noticed, there would have been noise and hot water and towels and stuff.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

5. What countries did you visit?
none. not even scotland or wales...

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
security. a pipe dream!
love. ditto!

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
september 9th. my black belt grading.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I'd be sounding like a stuck record if I mentioned the black belt again. frankly I suspect it's not going completely mad in the last couple of months actually.

9. What was your biggest failure?
failing to make the club a success and therefore costing people money.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I started the year with a broken toe - have been mostly ok apart from 5 months of backache and a numb thumb (which I still have!)

11. What was the best thing you bought?
that waist cincher corset I got off greasedtrigger

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
selectnone and the_great_bj for being there to listen to me whine and mope.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
takes the 5th.

14. Where did most of your money go?
the club and boozing at the club.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
whitby. infest. everything - I'm over-excitable.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? than this specific moment last year (the end of boxing day) happier. in general much sadder.
b) thinner or fatter? mostly thinner although my cheese babies have made me spherical this week.
c) richer or poorer? much much poorer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
club promo and management. taekwondo.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
boozing. mopeing. texting.

20. How will you be spending New Year?
as yet uncertain. possibly at a party in chesterfield - possibly at a party at mine. need to sort it quick quick!

21.Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
I'm not really a phone person at the mo. probably Will.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
it doesn't count as falling in love unless it's reciprocated. I have fallen badly for 2 people throughout the year though.

23. How many one-night stands?
a few.

24. What were your favourite TV programs?
Heroes. clearly. and dexter. armstrong and miller have been good comedywise.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
no. I'm not a hater. I'm too whiney to be a hater.

26. What was the best book you read?
not really read many - been too busy :( probably the wintersmith - but it wasn't remarkable.

27. What were your greatest musical discoveries?
err. children on stun? it was a slow year. *slopes off*

28. What did you want and get?
lots of things! that's the nature of wanting stuff and having a bank account :P

29. What did you want and not get?
security. success.

30. What were your favourite films of this year?
die hard 4.0

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
woke up at the house of goth. went to my dad's then nan's and then came back to leeds. shopped. went to matt's xmas party. got presents. remained mostly sober. I was 37. it's a clerical error.

32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
either club stability or love. with one I could cope better with the lack of the other :D

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
squeeze that bit in, hide the lumps, show those bits, mmm shiny.

34. What kept you sane?
the need to be sane. I'm not sure it did.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
johnny depp. is there anyone else. It's a passive fancying though not an active one.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
can't think of one at the moment. hmm that's pretty bad I used to be so political.

37. Who did you miss?
geof.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
that's not a question I can answer - I met lots of people - you can't rate them!

only risk what you're willing to lose.
