sarah_orangeaw I'm a sad orange. sad and really really out of the loop. I just found out that the beautiful leslie cheung, star of Farewell my Concubine, one of my favorite films (and certainly my favorite of the new chinese cinema from the 90s), killed himself in Hong Kong 4 years ago.
Julian had to virtually give me sedatives after I saw that film. I was still weeping 2 hours later. to this day I find it really hard to watch. damn. and now life mirrors art.
very sad.
