I thought "Romo" a movement in the late 90s that tried to bring back the New Romantics.

There was a coach crash killing members of the main bands involved in the comeback....killing the comeback.

Romo? Yes... I'm very sincerely glad I somehow entirely missed that, else I'd have had to seek employment as a suicide coach driver just to make sure.

I always thought that the New Romantics eventually got assimilated by the Goth scene and that's where we all got frilly shirts and pirate looks from. Trying to revive something someone else has already assimilated is pretty futile.
