So last wednesday my taekwondo instructor emailed me asking if I was going to be taking my black belt grading this time (as if it was my choice - how odd given he wouldn't let me take it last time!) I of course said that yes, barring injury or other catastrophe, yes I would certainly like to. He mentioned that I'd have to do a lot of hard work over the next 10 weeks to bring my fitness up - fair enough I can do that - I'm very goal orientated, if you build it they will come sort of thing - if I know I have something to do then I'll make sure it's done, possibly just in the nick of time but done nevertheless. all good.

just looked at the calendar. it is in fact less than 6 weeks away fuckity fuck fuck fuck!
