the problematic future

bloody hell! my computer was just playing up - saying the av was out of date even though it had just updated and refusing to log on to msn. even after a reboot. odd I thought. then I noticed it was saying that the av was 14000+ days out of date. odder I thought. then I noticed the calendar had somehow set itself to 5/3/2407... changed it back and everything was fine. strange that it should affect msn...

can't be bothered to update with the ever tedious minutiae of my life at the moment. I appear to have lost the will to do so. don't imagine you'll find it to be any great loss eh? I'll just mention that both friday flock and imaginary friends were ace and you should make an effort to go to one or both of them next month.

A number of authentication systems, in particular Kerberos which is very common, are affected by clocks that are not in sync. Does your machine not set itself automatically over the net? You can tell it to do so in the date and time options.

You are a timelord.

Can I borrow your TARDIS sometime? I have these six numbers I need to make my life complete... :-)

I once got hold of a virus that changed the calendar to 2600 in order to make my antivirus trip up over it. Maybe you need a cleanout? :/
