I'm running towards nothing

another post weekend update - I really should make the effort to do some at the weekend itself - its not like I'm just way too busy or anything. I think I'd just rather waste work's time rather than my own. tsk!
friday flock was excellent again - despite my attempts to stay sober and the fact that only myself and
verte turned up in undead themed clothing and therefore looked like a couple of bloody goths.
stilettosharp looked wonderful in a 1940s stylee - with tenko hair. ranted at
myz_lilith for a bit as is my wont and attempted to avoid a loitering shred. afterwards people trolled back to mine and got left under the watchful eye of Red when I gave in and went to bed at 4:30. can't remember what I ate apart from 2/3s of a chicken tikka naan kebab and a packet of mini cheddars.
managed to get up and go to town to get my new glasses - woot to being able to see properly again. I was massively disorientated for the first 20 minutes as the glasses are very small and there's a wibbly interface between glasses and reality.
on to squad training - nothing particually marvelous to report there apart from the apparent scariness of the distance covered with my axe kick. fear my soles :D
went to the phono with red via a quick pint in the fenton with travis, helga, cats et al. it was full of 14 year olds. boogied muchly and chatted to the fabulous
northern_vixen didn't quite make it to as pissed as I had hoped. came home. ate pizza. poor red had to be up and out at 8:30 - she said bye before she left and I attempted to sleep through the worse hangover headache in living memory. I distinctly remember groaning 'argh kill me' loudly enough to scare the neighbours. finally haulled my ass out of bed at 2pm. tut tut.
made some fruit salad in an attempt to be healthy. failed to be healthy by eating 3 bowls of it with tip top. yak. hoping the food frenzy is going to subside soon before I get too big for my front door.
am now at the sharp end of my ebay frenzy - I had to pay for 5 auctions today and there's another one that ends tonight. err yes. on a brighter note my lovely new corset came today and its super fabulous.

Date: 2004-03-08 08:09 am (UTC)Yeah, the "theme" was a bit of a dead loss this time, not sure if it was general disinterest, the theme itself or the fairly short notice. I was going to go for an "ancient egypt" theme (stolen from Patrick) for April but I'm so sure if it's worth doing now... I'm sure if we went for something saucier like "Doctors and Nurses" it would be popular, but we can't do that every month. Maybe we should just keep it simple and choose an arbitrary colour, like "red".
