Whitby? In the summer? does it even exist then? o_O

So it turns out my Da has never been to Whitby - I thought he had with his bird recently but that must be someone else's dad or something. Odd. They all look the same to me...

So I figure we should stop in Whitby for the night on the Saturday - the drive over is very pretty (and we can stop in some of those places that we just drive through in our WGWlust) and there's plenty of nearby exploring to do and things to photograph. Plus THE MAGPIE. :)

So, dear friends, can any of you recommend (or indeed NOT-recommend) any good cheap guest houses/b&bs - I've always done cottages myself. I suppose if it's all booked up we could go further afield as there's no problem with transport

Just thought I'd mention in excited tones that it's the Slippery Belle Burlesque this Saturday at the club and I rather think it will be a splendid show this month - particularly as we have the simply wonderful Beatrix Von Bourbon performing once more. She's won a host of awards and stuff since she last performed at theSubculture so it will be interesting to see how it's affected her output.

Hairdressers in Leeds - HELP AN ORANGE!

final post of the day - I promise. probably.

phoned up to make an appointment at the hairdressers today only to be informed that Kate has not come back from her maternity leave and has decided to become a full-time mother. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!!!

smugness aside this has left me without a regular hairdresser.

can anyone recommend one that won't mind bleaching my roots to almost white and dying the whole thing bright red and giving me a trim and blow dry (good lord i really have to double check I'm not typing blowjob whenever I type blow dry - welcome to my brain...) without charging me a fortune for the priviledge or doing a shonky job.
