The hour is late and you know that time waits for no-one

Hmm feeling a little baffled by life the universe and everything (tm) today.
By the beginning of next week I need to make a hard descision about whether to sell the house for cash to one of those dodgy places that will only give 80-85% of it's value but will do it quickly. Seeing as no-one has bitten at all yet. Going to phone the estate agents today and lower the price anyway. grr! stoooopid recession. stooopid arsey TCS.

Ah well. Worse things happen as has been very starkly illustrated this weekend. Clearly my thoughts are with Andy and with the rest of Sam's family and friends. There is nothing I can say beyond this.
If anything it's left me in a very 'seize the moment' type of mood. Which is probably just me attempting to justify the sorts of ridiculous spur of the moment stuff I do anyway but hey.

Looking forward to the Burlesque this weekend. Unfortunately it will be the last one with Lady J as compere. I hope they manage to get another fabulous Queen to compere future events. Come one come all and give him a good seeing off :)

the one thing worse than being bored at work is not having a clue how to do stuff that people expect you to do and not even having enough grounding to really know where to start or where to find out. I have no training or actual experience in SAP Installation and Configuration - so we have consultants coming in to do the upgrade and pass on info. So why, given they're now going to a week late, do the guys upstairs want me to do all the preparatory work and pre-upgrade upgrades - erm... hello - no idea how - er that's why we have the consultants coming in... given the amount of money they're paying these guys to come in and do the work why on earth would they want me rampaging through the system with no fucking clue beforehand?
