ah the power-down weekend. such fun. I'm currently checking a couple of hundred SQL server databases over 35 servers and then I have to do UNIX stuff to the Oracle databases. I hate UNIX. bah. It had better all go ok cos there's no way I'm going to be happy troubleshooting stuff with tomorrow's planned hangover.
spent last night playing scrabblous with an ill bridget (yay no germs cross the internet) which really is the least exciting friday night I've had in quite some time (no disrespect to b!)
am lifting some stuff from cd whilst I work - was just listening to Dry by PJ Harvey - I sometimes forget about it's existance - which is silly as it's a stunningly good album. Currently on Lexicon of Love by ABC - another storming album - if somewhat different to Dry - definitely of the lush and layered genre - old romantic :)
TRANSMISSION LATER! WOO! I do hope B is well enough to come out. probably be in the wrens from 9 if anyone's interested.
