I would surely miss your tender kiss

went for nollynoodles last night with 10 other people (too lazy to rollcall) - much nomming was had. headed straight back to selectnone's in a giddly fashion to watch the last episode of heroes, drink wine and munch m&s chocolate cornflakes. very enjoyable. much other-stuff watching occurred too. should be able to make a concerted effort to work through all 3 series of veronica mars now we're in a heroes hiatus.

today I went to the dentist and had my front teeth filed in preparation for my veneers. how odd. they're so odd and rough now. she took all the sharp bits off which means it's now less painful if I bite you. damn. it'll be like this for 2 weeks until the veneers get put on. then I'll have much better teeth than I've had in years. she also told me I should stop with the pepsi max as it's probably that that's causing erosion. double damn. I'm bored of water already

HM the Queen is in huddersfield today and as I got off the train there was a full orchestra on stage in the main square playing the pirates of the carribean sountrack - it was excellent - many years of school/shonky orchestras had made me forget how magnificent a proper, good orchestra sounds. immense. and the choice of music couldn't be faulted ;)

I'm actually considering having a quiet night in tomorrow. what madness is this I hear you ask? think I'm going to reserve my main partying for the black sheep gig on sunday (uberbyte, action directe and SCHMOOF! incase you'd missed viciouscabaret's spamming. somehow) I'll probably end up at the pub but hey - I'm ~considering~ staying in.

will do another post in a second with a couple of announcements - when I've done a bit more work :P

We have an all day festival on the 14th July which has provided me with an ideal oportunity to have one of my parties.
so.

I want cherry tomatoes, baby corn cobs, mini pizza, cocktail gherkins, bijou buns, tiny terrines, dinky donuts, wee weiners, quaint quiche, piddly pies
you get the score.
plus I'd love to get hold of a kiddies tea set and any empty (or full!) minature bottles

please bring tiny food! - I've got some tinsy-winsy gyoza and I really want to get hold of some quail's eggs to do mini fried eggs.
as usual with my parties I can only guarantee a semblance of civilisedness until 11 - it's fair game for pissheads after that. :D

the other announcement:

on Saturday the 28th July we're hoping to hold:
Day of the Dead
the rough plan is a Zombie Picnic/bbq at 4 or so in Hyde Park
an Otley Shuffle via the packhorse, eldon, fenton and dry dock (and possibly the library)
some dis-embowling
followed by a Dawn of the Dead style shuffle through the Merrion Centre (hopefullly being filmed/photographed)
then on to Nightclub of the Living Dead

I'm looking for people to help me organise this/throw ideas at me/make stuff for it
perhaps anyone who's interested could meet me on monday night or at some point on sunday afternoon (before soundcheck or at the wrens at 6pm)
