Sweat carves a screenplay of discipline...and devotion
oh dear -
wsogmm and I have started plotting about our proposed trip to Japan next spring already Will we be able to keep up the momentum for 13-14 months? :) I'm dreaming of infinite afternoon tea at the park hyatt again...
Matt and Kate should be married by now (either that or one of them will have been murdered by the other...), how odd! it's their wedding do on saturday evening and they specified 'formal/suits' on the invite. I don't do posh formal (although I like men in suits so I'm looking forward to that aspect :D ) so have decided to steal 'formal' from another culture and go in a sari. This has rendered my already hectic weekend schedule EVEN MORE HECTIC by the addition of a 10am trip to Bombay Stores in Bradford with Julie to go and purchase said sari (I'm thinking red and black although I may venture into red/silver red/gold wedding sari territory :D ) Bombay Stores is a fabulous place so I'm looking forward to the trip anyway. it does mean my weekend is shaping up to be thus:
friday -
myz_lilith's birthday drinks at the lounge then onto Friday Flock live in time for Trauma Pet and Deathboy and then probably on to Frankie goes to Subculture
Saturday - Bombay Stores,
myz_lilith's birthday boardgaming down t'club at 2:00pm, home at 4:00 to get ready (could be amusing - it's a long time since I've worn a sari and last time I was helped by experienced people!), down to the Armouries for Matt and Kates wedding do (5:30 for 6pm...) and possibly on to Substance later if things die down early at the wedding (in a sari! woo!)
Sunday - lig, lig and sheep - unless I have to let the cleaners in.
blee. tonight I have to brave the woodsley road contraception clinic - and there's no way for me to get there nice and early and therefore miss the crowds. always a fun way to spend a few hours :( at least I have my DS.
