oh dear. when you're on your 6th pint at 8:30 you know you've gone somewhere wrong!
went back to jo and nick's for an hour or so where upon jo had to go and hug the toilet and lie down so me and nick played with the cats, chatted and watched ray mears. how does ray mears stay so fat living on birch bark and grubs?
made it with 5 seconds to spare onto the train back to leeds and got to the palace about 11:15 to meet Neal and his chum Iain and had another pint and a half. blimey. thankfully I think the big gap in the middle meant I wasn't actually that pissed. (or was I - I don't recall being that bad by that point but that might just be down to brain damage?) Went back to neal's and watched some of the Eddie Izzard box set I'd got from sainsbury's for £13.99 it has 6 live dvds - all of them appart from live at the ambasadors (the best one in my mind but probably only cos I've had it for a million years on video) Bargain!
pubculture went ok - the free game level on the pin ball mysteriously went back down to 50M the other day from 180M so me andcrm managed to play for ever on £1. finally got onto the leader board with a mighty 313M! woo! only to be knocked off later Kez's housemate Sven getting all the things on there (woo casino frenzy - woo breaking the bank) and scoring 463M. he's my new hero ;D
resonance went well - this was helped by a mini bus of revelers from sheffield coming along.mistresslillith put my false eyelashes on for me as I couldn't see well enough in the low light with contact lenses in! a whole pile of punters turned up whilst I only had one on. oops. unfortunately I'd picked clothing based on style not practicality and could hardly walk and had real trouble with steps. getting out of theSubculture again was a bit of a challenge. wendyhouse started well but the whole not being able to move around much or dance thing was a bit depressing! red looked lovely - in a dress but with cheaty trousers and kath had a cold bottom. kath, bug and I were blighted by a twat for a while till I eventually lost my (usually glacial) cool and told him to kindly desist - to his credit he did bugger off at this point. I must have looked scarey ;) dunno I just felt a bit disconnected though - I was either surrounded by millions of people all trying to talk to me at once or suddenly everone would have buggered off and I'd be standing there by myself looking like a pranny. thanks to everyone who said I looked nice though. not sure it was worth the discomfort but ta! and thanks to liam and his mate james for looking after me/walking me home afterwards.
and those boobs that the overly-enhanced tranny had were giving me the fear. I had to block her from neal's view at one point as he became frozen with horror mid conversation and rendered speachless. hehe.
