Nov. 2nd, 2005 04:54 pmwhat ho. been a while hasn't it?
hmm thinks back about what she's been up to... ah yes.
there was the referees' course in glasgow - that was fun fun fun. especially the being up at 5:30am and staying awake to keep jenny company bit. the course wasn't too bad. going to have to practice shouting in korean for a couple of days this week.
then there was whitby. there was some distressing 'political' stuff but there was also a lot of rather jolly eating, drinking and shouting...
points of particular note:
all in all very nice. we've booked the cottage again for april - it was a good sized one and it had better cookware than I do.
Tonight Geof and I are off to the millrace in kirkstall for poshish dinner as it's our anniversary. woo to lovely dinner...

points of particular note:
- watching big daz attempt to eat all the food in the whole world at the magpie and being faced with my first ever proper oyster and managing it
- escaping with julie for 15 minutes on the 2p machines in the arcades whilst tim made us sushi
- football heckles and daleks - I love to shout and consequently have lost my voice - diana and chums chasing the gazette fellows with said dalek and biffing them over the head was mighty fine
- dr and the medics being shockingly better than we imagined they would be - bonza!
- being right at the front for most of NFD - marvelling at the singer being the bastard child of kaye and carl - and having a right good time to psychonaut
- peering out from under my wig shouting "hello! oi! fuzzygoth! it's me sarah! I'm wearing a wig" and him still not getting it till I said "sarah orange!" - I'd been hugging the bloke the night before - men! pfft! ffs!
- being the world's bestest tranny magnet
- realising I should start a b&b in about 10 years when I get fed up of the computing world. possibly from the above point a b&b catering particularly for trannies
