sarah_orangeLJ has been heinously lacking in pirate noises recently given that it's nearly time for POC2.
due to going to a wedding on saturday and therefore need to be all sproingy and not hungover I propose a trip to see said piraty joy at the cinema. arrrr! there are more showings at the kirkstall road one - but if there lots of people who want to come who are on the other side of town then I may be persuaded to do the one in the light.
in other news my jury service has finished for this week after just 2 bloody days. I was really enjoying that - 2 hours lie in in the morning, leaving at 4:30 at the latest. pfft. and I got to be foreman and say 'not guilty' - I was crapping myself - what if I said the wrong thing?! ah well. back in on monday.
weekend was mostly pleasant although I accidentally went to a taekwondo world cup bbq - I sat outside and read 1984 till it was over. got let on sing star again. it's becoming habit forming - I need to go karoke cold turkey! went to rock of ages eventually and had an damn good boogie and finally got to meet pete. yaaar!
