2 hangovers, 1 wedding, no funerals.

sarah_orangeWeekend was a little hectic again. Friday saw me dressing up in my bestest ridiculous japanese clothes and heading to SNIKT as Deathnotey manga-y random girl. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
_insecure_ did a marvelllous turn as electra (complete with Al's sai which I smuggled in to the club - bad orange) and won the costume prize. a silly night of silly dancing and sillier costumes - Al's Thor (we he should use more lube then) was splendiferous, calanooka's Crow was better than any I remember from the time when the crow was the old jack sparrow and I was highly amused by the 6 armed Dr Octopus (Dr Sextopus?) constructed of beer cans and foil. Drank too much. Kath was sick on my bedroom floor - rock and roll :P
I wasn't much use on Saturday - although I was a lot better than Kath. As an indication of how useless I was I came downstairs after 25 minutes or so to see how my Reggae Reggae Chicken Chargrills were doing only to find I'd completely failed to turn the oven on. Laughed at myself, turned it on and went off to play wow some more. Only to come down 25 or so minutes later and find I'd carefully set the temperature dial but turned the function dial to light (made even more ironic by the fact we don't have a working light in the oven) gah. thankfully the 3rd attempt provided me with tasty tasty reggae reggae chicken chargrills :)
I finally managed to drag my lazy arse into some vaguely presentable clothes and make it toglennkenobi and jofox15's wedding reception at the Uni by 8. Marvellous do - so many people I know were there - had thought the hangover would mean I left early but they basically had to physically remove us from the building. Much shonky wedding dancing was done :D
You can imagine the state I was in on Sunday then (although at least I didn't have trouble operating simple household gadgets) but I'd promised to head out to Black Sheep to seeecho_echo and smoke_rising. after a quiet start quite a few people's turned up. I think they carried on to Fab afterwards but I was far too broken.
This week I have the every lovely_r_e_d_ over on Wednesday night! Woo! And then another hellishly busy weekend. Gah I need to win the lottery and have a nice holiday for a few months.
