Hello Pop Pickers

gosh. that was a full weekend! headed straight down to brum on friday after work. the journey mildly thrwarted by the propensity of the other passengers to be very bloody annoying. but beyond that all was fine and miss_corinne picked me up from the train station like the tiny curly angel she is. we went for a tasty tasty curry with toxicpixie, eddy_ and the lovely mandalorean (*waves*) - a few beers later and everyone seemed fit for an earlish night.

all the bike people nipped off to donnington for a bike festival whilst me and cor pottered in to king's heath for party supplies (joy to not getting up at 7:30 =P) we met up with daddy orange for a bit at the red lion and consumed tasty foods. got back, had a snooze and constructed punch. party was good although I can't remember details - I met a bunch of new people and re-met some other people *move waving* Some how tawdryfilth made a bunch of us head to the Newt for 3 hours or so so I probably missed lots of party fun. did plenty of dancing though. and spent a fortune. was good :) the party was still going when we got back. I may have been a little drunk and a tad bitey. poor elle... a silly night and we ended up all heaped on the sofa - I finally crept into bed at about 7ish

Sunday was spent at lig-con-2 at the Red Lion (mwa ha ha rubbing lemon juice and salt into someone's wounds does sting - we never got around to the mustard that Vicky suggested in the spirit of scientific enquiry), not eating my dinner (we call him 2 dinners Hurst...) and then watching the boys fiddling with their bikes whilst we soaked up the rays.
the journey back was slightly traumatic due to a smack head/lunatic getting on to the train at wakefield and harrassing me and the girl behind me to the extent that I lost my rag and shoved him at which point he started to stare right at me and threaten to beat me up with me got off the train. niiice. wanker. I shouted at him a bit and me and the other girl scuttled off when the train got in hoping he wouldn't bother following me. I think I was saved by his low attention span so managed to get to the club ok.

arms are painful today - I got eaten alive by mosquitos on the left one and gingers on the right one. bah.
