I know it's a long time till September but...

I really fancy going to the abbot's bromley horn dance in staffordshire this year but it's a monday and I'm almost out of holidays and it would probably require 2 days off as it's a very boozy event. If enough people were interested in attending I might organise some unpaid time or see if I can work up any lieu time...

I really like traditional drinky frolicy stuff like this - reminds me of back in the day before all the new age crystal gubbins became popular :)

I used to be well into my folky pagany stuff back in the day (the end of the 80s) and went to some great dos - they're generally good boozy fun. I'm now happily an atheist but still love traditional stuff like this :)

and folk music is my deep dark secret love :P

I'm certainly not Pagan, far from it. But i do rather like some folk bits. Big fan of The Oysterband (oops add ely folk festival as well to that list), Show of Hands are good. Eliza Cathy....Oh and then the more goth style, NMA, Rev Hammer & Blyth Power...Oh and the Levelers, which i'm seeing Sunday. Go Me !
