Tongue piercing isnt as bad as every one says. I had mine done a year ago in Plymouth and its caused me the least grief of all the piercings Ive had (yep had a few). Make sure you keeps gob clean, brush teeth after meals and gargle with some antiseptic mouth wash dilute 50/50 with water and also use salt water to keep wound clean. Tongue does swell but use anti inflammatories to counteract and dont do stuff like try to eat a huge steak straight after! Keep food light and easy to eat for a week. My fave was ice cream lol.....here endeth the Jetty lesson...tongues a hoy!!
